In this article

First, notice the asset type designation from the Supplier, along with the quantity.

Identifying Manufacturer and Model

Next, select the Manufacturer for the asset.

Next, select the Model. There are thousands of potential models in the system. Should the exact model not be in the system, we recommend using another model from the same series.

Inputting Usage Upon Arrival, Serial Number/VIN and Asset ID

Last, input the usage upon arrival (if available), the Serial Number / VIN and the Asset ID.

IronUp defaults to displaying our internal Asset ID in this field, which you can use or replace with your own organization's Asset ID.

At any point during this process, you can click on the "View" button on the far right of the table to open this asset's Detailed View in a new tab. This can help you verify asset details, review inspection photos, and more.

After you have entered all of this data, click on the "Next: Asset Operation & Call Off" button at the bottom left of your screen.
